Whether or not the Zippos shown below are
sexist, or "politically incorrect", there is
little doubt that standards in the 21st
Century have changed. While there are many
artistic Zippo designs celebrating the
beauty of the female form, a scantily clad
female as an object in non-lifestyle
advertising is rarely seen today.
This 1953 Zippo
advertises "Well
Stacked Equipment
Mfg. Inc." Well
stacked indeed!
What kind of bodies
did the M&M Body
Repair on this 1972
Zippo seek to work
on? Doesn't look
like a car body!
