Here is a 1959 Zippo with the Sport Series' Fisherman image barely visible on the front. It appears that a lip has been added to the top portion of the case, perhaps to make it easier to open. It is unlikely that this "prototype" was made by Zippo,   but Zippo did manufacture cases and lids with lips for their leather-covered models.
